Griffith University has one of the world’s leading and largest university centers for environmental science, engineering, management and planning.  Their academic staffs are highly sought after nationally and internationally as environmental educators and consultants to government and industry.  Griffith University’s Graduate Certificate in Water and Wastewater Management provides postgraduate level studies and training that are aimed to address today’s challenge in meeting the increasing demand for clean water and improving the efficiencies of water usage.  Graduates of the program will be specialists in water and wastewater treatment and management who are able to perform in a wide range of positions in water and wastewater industries, such as treatment process design, implementation and operation, project management and consulting, and policy and strategy development.

   Brisbane North Institute of TAFE, Australia

Brisbane North Institute of TAFE is part of the Government owned and operated TAFE (Technical and Further Education) Queensland network, which focuses on helping students develop practical skills for employment or further studies.  TAFE Queensland is the largest vocational education provider in Queensland, offering courses to more than 250,000 Australian and international students each year.  Since 1988, TAFE Queensland has welcomed students from more than 80 countries.

Brisbane North Institute of TAFE offers over 200 certificate and diploma courses in program areas including English Language Studies, Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Tourism & Travel, Horticulture, Hospitality, Community Services and much more!  Qualifications offered by Brisbane North Institute of TAFE are nationally accredited and recognized.  Its diploma courses articulate to many Australian university courses.  This means that once you have successfully completed its diplomas, you will have direct entry with up to 18 months credit into a relevant university degree course.

   Singapore Polytechnic  and  Skillstech Australia

   

We collaborate with Singapore Polytechnic to jointly offer and award two watercourses by SkillsTech Australia (an Australian government institution) namely: 

  1. Certificate of Competence in Sewage and Wastewater Treatment
  2. Certificate of Competence in Water Treatment

They being first of their kinds in Singapore.  These custom-designed courses were offered since 2000, specially tailored to the local environment. 

They are registered with the Ministry of Education, endorsed by our Professional Engineers Board under its CPD program and course fees being substantially subsidized by the Singapore Government for company-sponsored applicants.  We also work closely with our Public Utilities Board in organizing on-site practical visits to its treatment plants.
